Our historical 2017 Innova Crysta studio reel documents a Lexus-style grille, black alloys, leather seats and a star roof. It is an example of earlier work, not a fitment guarantee for every Hycross or Crysta variant.

Component choices
Kits, grilles and conversion scope
A type-4 conversion label describes an intended appearance, not a complete parts specification. The starting vehicle and individual component references matter more than the nickname.

Approval points
Vehicle, parts and fitment.
Fitment depends on the starting vehicle and the exact component. A Crysta reference does not establish compatibility with a Hycross, another model year or a previously altered vehicle. Maker and part references distinguish the components behind an informal conversion name.
A qualified installer should assess mounting, trim and interactions with existing equipment for the proposed parts. A photograph of a finished build cannot show every attachment or alteration underneath. Exterior changes and cabin additions also involve different surfaces and equipment.

Check the proposed modification’s road-use requirements with the relevant transport authority, including any approval or registration documents. A changed appearance is not proof of unchanged vehicle safety or road legality.

Compare the complete installed work
An online grille listing is a parts price, not an installed job. Matching component references, fitting and finishing give a useful basis for comparing quotes. GST is extra.
A grille change and a wider conversion involve different parts and work. Cabin additions are separate again; compare complete jobs rather than the same informal kit name.

Plan protection alongside styling
Paint protection needs a separate film, finish and panel list alongside the styling work. Use PPF quote factors to set out that part of the brief. Identify whether you want protection on existing panels, proposed components or both, so the surfaces under discussion are clear.
PPF is separate from replacement components. We agree the film, finish and panels before fitting; PPF preparation and installation are included.

Can I use a grille from the studio reel as a reference?
Yes. The historical reel documents a 2017 Crysta with a Lexus-style grille. It is a reference for the look, not evidence that the same part fits every variant today.
What does an installed kit cost?
A grille replacement, wider exterior conversion and interior additions involve different parts and labour. An online component price excludes installation and finishing, so it cannot stand in for a fitted-job quote.
Can lighting be planned with exterior work?
Lighting and exterior parts are distinct scopes. A qualified installer should assess lighting mounting, wiring and interactions with existing vehicle features.
